Getting Started
Connect your GitHub account and start discovering repositories in minutes.
Sign in with GitHub
GitRadar uses GitHub OAuth — no password required. Click Sign in with GitHub on the login page and authorize the app. GitRadar requests read access to your starred repositories and the ability to star/unstar on your behalf.
Initial sync
After signing in, GitRadar immediately starts an initial sync to import all your starred repositories from GitHub. You'll see a progress bar while this runs.
Fetching your stars from GitHub...
[████████████░░░░░░░░] 312 / 500 repositories processedThis typically takes 30–60 seconds depending on how many repositories you've starred. You'll receive an email when the sync is complete.
You can't use the Discover page until the initial sync finishes. This is a one-time step.
Start discovering
Once synced, head to the Discover tab. GitRadar will show you one repository at a time:
- Star — adds it to your GitHub stars and improves future recommendations.
- Dismiss — marks it as not interesting. You won't see it again.
Each action you take makes the next recommendation more relevant.
